MISSION:
The mission of the Hudson County Child Abuse Prevention Center is to promote the safety and well-being of Hudson County children by providing programs and services which develop and strengthen the community's capacity to nurture children and prevent child abuse in all forms.

Executive Director: Sylvia Ridlen, Ph.D., LCSW
Sylvia Ridlen has been active with HCCAPC since 1986, first on the Board of Directors and, since September, 2011 as Executive Director. She is a NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Sylvia's career has been in social work. She has extensive experience as a professor of social work, administrator, researcher, psychotherapist, caseworker, and consultant with non-profit organizations and their boards. Sylvia has worked with and for diverse and disadvantaged people her whole career.
